Comic Strip: The Meaning of Friendship

Submission Guidelines

✦ Create a comic strip using real-life materials (e.g., drawings, collage, etc.). Digital artwork is not allowed. You can print images and glue it to your paper tho.

✦ The comic strip must contain between 5 and 15 squares (or frames).

✦ The entire comic strip must be on one single page.

✦ The story must depict “the meaning of friendship” in the context of the Tibia game.

✦ Submissions must be in English.

✦ The comic strip should be funny yet heartwarming.

✦ Each square/frame must contain a drawing/picture that represents part of the story.

✦ The comic strip can be colored or in black and white, based on your preference.

✦ Submitted pictures must be of good quality.

✦ Submit only 2 pictures showing your creation process and only 1 picture of the completed comic strip (final picture). We need 3 images in the total! 

✦ All pictures must show a paper with the phrase “The Meaning of Friendship – TibiaEvents.com.” Do not add any extra information (server and character).

✦ Use the same piece of paper in each picture to prove authenticity.

✦ Submit all images at once (please, do not send them separately!).

✦ Edited pictures will not be accepted.

Script: Along with the pictures (not in the paper sign), add the name of your character server and include the dialogue or text for each square/frame.
Example:

• • Square 1: “Hi, Eventholder. How are you doing this morning?”
  • Square 1: “Extremely good! What about you?”
  • Square 2: “Actually, not so well.”
  • Square 2: “Why? What happened?”

✦ Participants may submit multiple entries, but can win only one prize. Each entry must be submitted in a separated post.

✦ Tibia Events staff are not allowed to participate.

✦ Any form of plagiarism will lead to immediate disqualification.

✦ The comic strip must not contain references to drugs, sex, offensive language, or xenophobic remarks. This is a family-friendly contest.

✦ All submissions must comply with Tibia game rules and community guidelines.

✦ Any attempts to cheat or exploit the rules will result in disqualification.

✦ Any disrespect to any  Tibia Events staff or other members, will result in disqualification.

✦ If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask them on our Discord channel in #contest-questions, our staff will be there to assist you.

✦ The submissions must be sent by Discord, in the channel #comicstrip-sub 

✦ The Tibia Events staff will use emojis to notify you if your entry has been accepted. To ensure your entry is reviewed, please submit it at least one day before the deadline.

✦ If your submission is marked as “incorrect,” review the rules and make the necessary corrections before the deadline.

✦ It’s important to emphasize that the responsibility for sending a correct entry within the deadline rests solely with the participant. The fansite is not responsible for incorrectly submitted entries.
